Wendy Cherwinski is on a mission to help people communicate with confidence in the workplace. With specialties in business communications, speechwriting and copywriting, she takes pride in turning clear thinking into compelling written and spoken words that get results. With more than 25 years of experience, she knows what it takes to engage readers and listeners and move them to agreement or action. In addition to writing, Wendy coaches clients and leads workshops and webinars to teach participants how to write speeches, presentations, memos and other business communications products.

As a speaker herself, she has presented her ideas at international events in Ottawa, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco and Bournemouth, England, and won praise for being “warm, clear, engaging and rich in insights”. Wendy also blogs and publishes a monthly e-newsletter called Pen & Podium, She earned an Honours Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and has continued to study writing throughout her career. Wendy is a past president of the International Association of Business Communicators (Ottawa Chapter) and a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and the Professional Speechwriters Association.
